i just heard this song the other day and it moved me deeply... i had to download it right away... there is something really special in his voice.
it makes me want to dance slowly.... or watch a ballet XD seriously... the first thing that jumps to my mind everytime i hear it is a slow ballet. so i drew what i felt when hearing the song.

reference used here for the pose... i dont remember where i found that picture though o.O sorry... and texture [link] :)

i was really playing with the layers here... and i love how it turned out.

The knee should be drawn properly to the position of her foot. The old ballet rule says it's very unhealthy for your leg when your knee "is directed" differently than your foot. The whole leg - from the hip to the ankle - must be based on one, straight line which runs through the middle of each joint. If not - the career of a dancer would be short because of joints injuries ;]

Hee, I used to be a dancer.
True ballet dancers NEVER show their thumbs. EVER.
It's a rule. One of many rules. It's the least painful one.
